Archaeometric analysis of selected metal artefacts from the site of Vetricella has been conducted at the Wolfson Archaeological  Laboratories of the UCL (University College London) Institute of Archaeology (Fig.1).

Objective of the study is to better comprehend the metalworking traditions adopted in the area between the 9th and 11th centuries AD as well as the nature of the resources employed in the production of metal objects.
